Good morning

I'm wanting to help out my Father in Law connect all his computers together, at his home. He is in his 70's and very tech savvy for his age.
He would have approximately 3 desktop machines, three or four laptops and an Ipads or two. He also has his tv and wd live box connected. All machines have windows 10, however I'm note sure if there are all pro. File and printer sharing is turned on the machines, the network profile is set to home and network discovery is set to on.

He does a lot of production work for a few local theatre companies and would like to be able to see the contents of each machine, on each machine (not the Ipad) when he is at home. He doesn't run a server or use a domain. He must have a switch I guess.

My question is:

Is there a way to have the contents of each pc available to be seen in explorer and be accessible? Is it possible to see all folders by using workgroups? I don't believe he has enabled or joined a workgroup on his machines.

I apologise if this question is vague or missing necessary information.

Many thanks
Wayne
