HIYA guys ive just installed a new dvd/cd-rw drive in a sony vaio vgn-fj1z/w laptop xp.. sp3 . it opens but it wont play cds or dvds i can hear it working but nothings plays? .. in my computer under devices with removable storage it just says memory stick E .. hope some one can help me out ,,thanks for any info because its doing my head in LOL.. plus theres no dvd/cd rom drive in device manager and in the bios it says optical drive : None . cheers.. i installed deamon tools now i can see a DVD drive F and its now showing in device manager but still not reading a disc when i put it in.. i will keep trying things
