Please notify me asap anyone that can help, it would be very much appreciated. I have already tried the uninstall and reinstall it doesn't work b/c it is no longer in system. Thanks

Click on Start orb, type into the search box wmplayer
does wmplayer show up in the results list?

Also as an alternative suggestion download vlc player. www.videolan.org/vlc/. It will play any video format you throw at it. I never use Windows Media Player or Internet Explorer myself.
