i have an older pc lying around that's not being used and i heard someone say you can take that and turn it into a hardware firewall. i tried this once a while back but got stuck configuring the firewall so i gave up. What type of sftware do you use? Linux distro maybe? anyway some good info on this would be nice! This might be a good Youtube video for brian to make. From what i hear a proper hardware firewall is pretty stout against alot of nasties! However i do have a router, would that be a problem? Thanks for any info!

Thanks for the link! but i really didn't listen to the whole thing although i have a good idea of what is going on! MY purpose is purely "to see if i can" project and see how much security is really added to my network and how well this will work with Peerblock! If i share my network map with you, you maybe can help me more with what i need.

I believe it would go internet>>>>>DSL modem>>>>>Hardware Firewall>>>>>>valetPlus Router>>>>>computers. That way all of your computers will be behind the firewall
