hi can anyone help me with my problem i have tried to get google search engine and to sign into youtube but can't all i get if this message at the top of the page i A license has expired on the Proxy, and your request is not permitted: "The SGOS license has expired"  have been intouch with my ISP and told to reboot my router which i  did but did not solve the problem they told me it might be my firewall but i cannot get google on my Iphone either has anyone experienced this before and if so how did you fix it.

restart your computer and router
have you tried to upgrade
youtube has had problems over the last day or 2 but i just watched a video on there and it seems to be fine

yes i have restarted my computer and the router still get the same message it happens on my laptop as well but i have found that if i turn wifi off on my Iphone it the youtube works and google also works i think it has something to do with the WiFi it does not affect other search engines just google and youtube as for upgrading what you mean upgrade what.

Hi there,

Go to you router setup page and when you have logged in you should find a link called Firmware Update or something similar that will check and tell you if there are any

updates for your router model. Your router web page address is this form: http://192.168.1.1, yours may be different from this one,type yours  into your browser

address bar. If you are not sure what the address is the  just open up a command prompt, type ipconfig, press enter and look for line

Default Gateway and along side it, in the form given above,  is the address of your router settings page.

i have logged on to the router page but there is no link for firmware i have looked in the toolbox my router is a Thomson 585v7 a few people have wrote in to tisccali now talk talk about this problem it only seem to have happened today which is wierd it must be a problem on all Thomson routers

usally refering to a server or router or proxy server utilizing the SGOS 3.0

Hi the problem has been sorted it had something to do with talktalks server they operate on something called a bluecoat system which uses SGOS 3.0 and  the licence is a piece of hardware that needs to be upgraded or renewed which obviously the forgot to do if you want to check it out here http://www.bluecoat.com/solutions/industry/serviceprovider
