Hi readers

I use chrome browser and I use http://www.google.co.uk/ as my home page.
When I open a new tab it shows a Google visual web history page. I have configured that
to open in a blank page but how, if possible , can a new tab be opened as my home page?

many thanks

New Tab Redirect is an extension that does exactly what you want.

Sets a custom URL to load in new tabs.  Choose from chrome's about pages, *NewTab, Extensions, Downloads, History*, a few popular URLs, or provide your own.  Your custom tab can also be a local file, allowing you to create your own new tab page. Saving blank text will cause your new tab to be about:blank.

This should solve your problem.
