I realized this started happening after I installed the Comcast Toolbar. To get past it I would have to disable it using these steps.
1. Click Start > Run or go to a command prompt.
2. Type iexplore -extoff and press Enter.
3. Internet Explorer should open. Click Tools > Manage Add-ons > Enable or Disable Add-ons…
4. From the drop-down, select Add-ons currently loaded in Internet Explorer.
5. Disable anything that references Comcast Toolbar. If you don’t have anything referencing Comcast Toolbar, disable anything that has the word Toolbar in it.
Close then restart Internet Explorer and you should be all good!
