I'm taking an A+ Intro Networking class, and have a stupid question Embarrassed

In the book it shows a peer to peer connecting one computer to another..

Basically a Peer to Peer network means, that each computer is connected by a switch or a router of some type right?? not literally connected to each other?..

Also a server client is where all computers are basically controlled by one? how can one computer control information on all of them?
