Limited Access - Joshuaaa - 11-11-2015

Hey there!

I turned on my Lenovo Laptop last night and it came up with "Limited Access" and wont let me connect to the internet. I have had this problem before and was easily fixed by disconnecting and reconnecting... Unfortunately that did not work this time. So I turned off my router and turned it on and that also did not work. I also tried updating the network adaptors or something which did not work. It cannot be the router or something like that because other devices in the house are comnecting fine. Any ideas? I appreciate the help Smile

I assume you are trying to connect wireless?

Open a command prompt as administrator and press enter after each command below:

Netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

netsh winsoc reset catalog

netsh dump

netsh winsoc reset

Reboot the computer and see if you have connectivity.

Yep connecting to wireless. Sadly this has not worked, any other ideas?

You may have a bad Wireless card. Can you boot to a Linux Live disk and see if you can connect in that environment? If you still can't connect you most likely have a bad wireless card.

Ok so we have a new problem lol. I took it into the shop and they said to do a factory reset. I did the factory reset and now its just looping. It loads up with the Lenovo logo then seems to restart without loading windows. Im running windows 10.
