How much ram is Usermode and system/kernel mode using? - smirk24 - 01-04-2018 I read a couple microsoft articles and seen that theres a user mode / kernel mode which from my understanding User mode: has to do with programs and files for a program. Kernel mode: has to do with the system and keeps windows up and running so without the kernel the computer will crash So my question is how can you split the 2 up so that you can monitor how much ram each one is using? RE: How much ram is Usermode and system/kernel mode using? - GuiltySpark - 01-04-2018 I don't think you can separate the two via RAM monitors, you can however, separate the two via CPU utilization in Task Manager.
