New pc arriving and im curious of bios setting discussed in manual - smirk24 - 10-11-2018 I got a new computer coming model: HP Compaq 6300 Pro with the following specs Intel Pentium processor Processor (Dual-Core, 2.8GHz, 6MB Cache) 4GB DDR3 Memory 250GB (7200RPM) SATA III Hard Drive Integrated Intel HD Graphics 2000 Thats all i know about the specs at the moment. (I plan on upgrading to windows 10 with it) so during the wait i was looking over the manual and ran into a few settings found in the bios which are Multi-Processor Hyper threading Turbo Mode Are these settings something worth messing with? Multi-Processor 2. Hyper threading 3. Turbo Mode Because i dont think those settings would be in the bios if the cpu didnt support those 3 fearures right? RE: New pc arriving and im curious of bios setting discussed in manual - Britec - 10-11-2018 Probably got a dual core processor in it.
