Transfering data from a bad drive - Secure Steve - 02-09-2019 So i have a 2TB hard drive with a bunch of bad sectors on it I bought a new 2TB HDD and want to transfer the data from the bad drive to the new one. Simply copying files results in a corrupt file or an I/O device error while copying. When opening the files from the corrupt drive they all open/play back perfectly but not if i copy them to the other drive . What is the best way to copy/clone the drive? RE: Transfering data from a bad drive - Timster - 02-09-2019 You are going to have to turn that over to a professional data recovery company. |
