Hello dear Sir and thank you very much for your above information on how to fully get WinXP installed on a thumb drive. I will call this installation method #1
As I absolutely need Skype for my activity I assume I cannot use the installation method as described here: http://www.briteccomputers.co.uk/forum/windows-xp-support/ow-to-install-and-run-windows-xp-on-a-usb-flash/ . This latter method I will call #2. The questions: a) Will method #1 negatively affect the life span of the thumb drive, as opposed to method #2, because of the increased write activity (caused by the operating system) on the thumb drive? b) If yes, do you know how to reduce write activity so as to increase the life span of the USB thumb drive? Pleased to hear that !!... take ownership can be a pain you think you have ownership by clicking on main folder which in normal circumstances is true but on other occasions you gotta take ownership of each individual file within the folder and it can as you say take ages anyhow your sorted now

Hi guys!
I'm having a bug wit all the FPS games. My Laptop model is: Toshiba Satellite C660D My Graphic card is: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Series OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64x CPU: AMD V140 Processor with 2.30 GHz This is example for what i mean: http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/383/fpsbug5.jpg http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/7354/fpsbug4.jpg http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/1469/fpsbug3.jpg http://img710.imageshack.us/img710/33/fpsbug2.jpg http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/6273/fpsbug1.jpg this bug is happening with all the FPS games, I tried these games: Medal Of Honor Airborne, COD 4, Project Blackout and Army Rage (All of them are having this bug) but other games non FPS are working fine. I've updated my Graphic card driver, Motherboard driver and DirectX also. Please help and sorry for my bad English. |

Update finally deleted the files of my hard drive took a couple of hours but manage it used take ownership.
