Windows 8 Update Pack by DrWindows
#1
The Windows 8 Update Pack by DrWindows is available here for download.

Status: 18 December 2014
With the one-time download of this package, they can also bring Windows 8 systems without Internet access and Windows Update to update or after a new installation quickly, "Up to date".
The regular use of Windows Update is however strongly recommended for you to get new security patches always as fast as possible. In addition, some Windows 8 updates are not offered for manual download, but distributed exclusively via Windows Update. This we can therefore not be integrated into the fix pack.

Included in this update pack all updates that are released to the above date for Windows 8 - the patches that are not displayed on Windows Update. It can also be used if the individual patches included have already been installed - these are then automatically skipped.

If you start Task Manager and look at the Processes tab, is CPU usage high while Windows Update is spinning its wheels? If so, which process is the culprit?
