Buying products for customers

The one thing you have to keep in mind is that if the customer insist on buying the parts make sure that you tell them that in no way can you put any warranty on those parts and in no way can you guarantee performance or compatibility on those parts. That way when you're assembling the computer and it doesn't boot up and the reason why it doesn't boot up is because of a part that the customer has purchased you are in no way financially liable to replace that part. If that computer crashes or breaks because of a piece of hardware that the customer purchased you are in no way responsible of having to cover the cost of repairing that.

I totally understand that. I think that I probably asked my question wrong from the get lol..And I apologize to all for that.

I totally understand that Mr. B. Thanks so much for the audio file. Now that I heard your great feedback, I can re-ask the question in a better way. Sorry I didn't mean to waste your time. I just couldn't figure out how to put my words together, but after listening to this it helped know how to ask. The "markup price" is what I was trying to ask. I just couldn't come up with the right word, but you helped me Smile I live in the US. I am getting mixed answers on it. I am replacing and cloning 5 HHD on 5 different units at a law-firm here, and not sure what a fair markup would be. I already purchased the 5 SSD's. I only opened a few months ago and this is the kind of work I am getting right now. My goal as you already know is Sever Miant and networking, but I have not got contracts for that yet. I am still in the marketing stage for that. Thanks again!
