I don't have windows 10 on any media USB or dvd.... My hard rive appears to be wiped , I wish there was a way to format the hard drive without using windows recovery I looked on the hbcd is you kindly gave me but those tools couldn't find my hard drive .....things were a lot easier with the fdisk command in windows 98 lol

You can initiate a clean install after completing the Upgrade. ....so I still need windows 8.1 to install windows ten and then to a clean install ....I do appreciate your help ( god I hope that doesn't sound condescending )
