Make sure the partition is marked as Active (if you need help on doing this just ask)

Yes my problem was that I cannot format the hard drive reset or refresh my computer without having the blue screen of death coming up , regarding rollback wrecking the motherboard he stated it was because it was An HP all in one computer ...but either way that that looks bad . My computer is currently with the repair guy at the moment he told me it was a quick fix so I'm hope that this is the case . I couldn't run the full chkdsk because it stated that the drive was write protected same happened when tried to repot the computer it came up with blue screen error
