Software Update Monitor like SUMO, Secunia, File Hippo,
#1
I am finding it very hard to locate a software update utility, similar to Secunia,  File Hippo Updater, or SUMO.  So, for example, say i have CClener, and the OEM offers a new edition hardened against current viruses and malware.  I want a monitor which tells me, "CCleaner has a new  edition ready for you."  Just a hypothesis.   Currently I use SUMO, and also File Hippo.  Secunia is snafu, Sumo is filled with false positives etc.  File Hippo sometimes breaks up.  I noticed Avira has such an application, but it is beta and not an open beta, we have to wait for them to sell it to us.
Please advise of update monitors like SUMO, File Hippo updater which ARE NOT filled with false information.  I thank you very kindly for this friendly advice.

I respectfully submit that I got this reply:
"Ketarin, Ninite, Patch My PC,Ninite Updater,SurfPatrol, FileHippo App Manager,Software Informer."
I respectfully request this, please: do you believe it is best to download the suggested  candidate update monitors, such  as Ketarin, and on through
File Hippo App Manager, install them and then observe their problems, as well as their good qualities?  That seems to me to be rational.  Do you believe there is a better way to proceed?  Advise.  I thank you very much for your kindness in answering very rapidly.  Sincerely: Sergie Yes.

A lot of problems you will face is dead download links. A lot of site change these regularly and it can become a pain keeping them updated.

Sir, I am still researching the subject of Windows applications update monitors.  You are extremely kind to mention this, and I might add, my favorite WAS Avira Updater.  Was?  Well, it is in beta, and I had it and it was primo, but you know, they still posses its workings and have not made it available.  It was exactly like Secunia in its gui, but very sturdy, that is, it did not collapse.  Goodness me, how I look forward to Avira finishing its development and making it available either in a public beta, or a shareware, or (in heaven!!)  Freeware.  Say, if you find something like the Avira updater, please send it in so I can share it with you.  My best!!!
