#1
Hi there. Smile
I was wondering if you could help me out?
I upgraded my windows 8 laptop to 8.1 and now when I try to reset my laptop I get the following message.
"The drive where Windows is installed is locked.Unlock the drive and try again." Sad

HELP!!! Huh

Try running a "Automatic Repair"
  • Insert the Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 DVD/USB and reboot the system.
  • Click Repair your computer
  • Navigate to Troubleshoot > Automatic Repair
  • Continue with the wizard to complete the process

If that does not work try running a chkdsk from command prompt.

Open command prompt as administrator and enter chkdsk  /f /x /r
NOTE this process will take a long time to run

Let us know how that goes.
