Swapping Motherboard lose my games?
#1
Sad
Hello, I am looking to replace my ASUS P5KPL-CM LGA 775  G31 DDR2 Mico ATX Intel motherboard with a Gigabyte G4 MT-S2PT LGA 775 G41 Micro ATX Intel DDR3 motherboard so I can expand my RAM to 8GBs. I think I will use the method of removing all of my drivers to avoid having to reinstall the OS. But my main concern is my games. I have a few Windows games, some Steam games and a Uplay game and was wondering if I would lose any data or the ability to play these games after the install? Everything will remain the same except for my MB and RAM.

Thanks

It is always best to do a fresh install when changing motherboards, but if you don't want to, it should work just find if you follow my videos and removal all programs and drivers that may cause a issue.
