DISM hangs at 40% and sfcfix.exe can't fix the corruptions
#1

.txt   sfcdetails.txt (Size: 72.62 KB / Downloads: 7) Hi, everyone

I ran sfc /scannow and it found corruptions but was unable to fix them. I have tried dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth and it always hangs at 40%. Then I ran sfcfix.exe and that didn't work either. I have run out of options. I'm desperate, please help! I attached sfcdetails.txt.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you for your quick reply! I downloaded the update and the installer said I alreary have KB2969339 update installed. Should I remove the update and try to reinstall?

ok try running Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth let's see if it will still hang

when running it make sure you close all programs off

only Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth should be open
