Changing Default User ID

I recently purchased a Dell XPS 8900. During the initial setup I somehow set my User ID as "kapta". I have no idea I managed to do it, but would like to have my profile ID set to something I choose. I would appreciate any instruction on how to make this change. Whenever I open Windows Explorer and click on Users, "kapta" displays as my User ID. Thanks.
