Wireless Card Removal?!
#1
So i just bought a new desktop computer and i wanted to make it wireless cause i hate ethernet cables. So i started looking through my hp pavillion and found a wireless card adapter in it. So i was wondering if there is any way to remove it and add it to my new desktop to make it wireless.

Is the Interface Type: PCI Express?

if so, just plug it into one of the PCI Express slots

It looks simpler to one of these Wireless-N-2200-2200BNHMW-802-11b-g-n-300-Mbps if so plug it in

I don't think that it is a PCI express type because it was somewhere completely different on the motherboard.

Also what do I do with the cables running out of it? If I want to install it into the new desktop I'm going to have to remove the wires right? And then where would I attach the cables in my new desktop?

That is a M.2 PCI-e slot you have circled. If the wifi card you are reffering to is in that slot then you mus have a M.2 slot on the motherboard you want to use that wireless card on. However there are adapters you can purches that convert that M.2 interface to a PCI-e 3 slot.

EXAMPLE:
ADAPTER

What about the two cables/wires running out of the wireless card? Would I need them if I were to install the card into the new computer? Or can I just push the card into the slot?

You would want to install the card with the wires exactly as it is installed on the computer you are removing it from. You may have to install drivers for the card once it is installed in the new computer. Is it possible for you to post a pic of the card as it is installed now?

Ah that is a mini pci-e slot not a m.2.

In this case you might want to consider the Wireless Network Ethernet LAN Mini PCI-E Card to PCI-E PCI Express Converter Adapter Antenna WiFi
