If I was you I would test your speed a couple of times without tweaking, and I'm pretty Shure you will find that your internet speed fluctuates. Are you on a wired connection or wireless?

My settings were already set as such thank you though and i found the tweaks i wanted, hd tune said my read should be 110 well i bench marked with diskmark and i was at 103 well i applied some tweaks and optimized a few things and now my read speeds are 112 my pc is how i want it im glad and my browsing is almost instant so im good. We can close the thread. Thanks again guys

You used to be able to tweak 56k modem back in the day, today I would say all that would happen by tweaking is a more stable connection. Also the only way you will get faster speed is if you are having issues with broadband and you resolve you issue. Not sure its possible to get faster speed, lets say 100meg speed is 100meg speed, you're not going to be able to tweak that to 110meg because its cap by you're ISP to 100meg.

Yeah i figured lol. I just know windows has settings in place that restricts certain things or how adding tcp1323Opts with a value of 1 can help you top out settings and even make a difference shown by benchmarking. With crystal diskmark and then using speed test.net, all i was after is if i have 12mbps speed and im wired in i want to benchmark and get 12 or at least
Get as close as i can, or when it comes to hard drives, i used hd tune and it said i should have a 110 for the read well when i benchmarked my read was barely 105 so i messed with settings and now its 112 and my computer seems to be a lot cleaner and better at response
