Does anyone here think that products from Apple are just ridiculously priced?
#1
I've always considered products from Apple as pure hype and nothing else, and let me explain as briefly as possible, why I feel so.

Let's start with the claim of many who use their products that it's a premium brand

Well, all I would like to say  to that is I don't understand what exactly makes those people make that claim; I mean I don't see anything exclusive in terms of performance or build quality in their products that would make them "premium"

I feel the prices that they come up with  for their products, are absolutely ridiculous and cannot be justified in any sensible way

I say this because there are products with way better hardware specifications and build quality, at half the price.

Product design is another  subject I can  give my personal opinion on, but don't think that would be fair as it can be a subjective point

Let's just say that  I'm not a fan of their designs.

There are some frustrating restrictions in their software and while some may argue that they make their systems more secure, I don't buy that argument

If you look at their phones, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus are known to bend quite easily when compared to other cheaper phones built of the same material and as thin

So what's perplexing to me  is what exactly makes their products so pricey; what exactly makes them a premium brand!!

I therefore just thought I'll create a poll and see what you people feel about their prices

Yeah people always want the latest and greatest technology and Apple know this. They also use slave labor to create there products cheaper and then price them high for maximum profit.

Apple computers are designed well but when you open the hood it has the same components as any other computer.

Exactly, and if you compare the prices with some other brands with a similar config or even if you build your own setup, you will see a massive difference.

I would have to agree with  Bruce Naylor you are not only paying for the lastest hardwere and techonlgy
but you are also paying for a better user experience

I would disagree with his views.  Bruce already perceives  it as a premium brand, and  his points of view are based on the presumption that it is premium

Both Mercedes and BMW can be classified as luxury brands due to justifiable reasons, but what exactly is it about Apple that makes it special?

I don, t want to come cross like an apple fan become I don, t own a mac
I would not say its overprice its expensive, yes ok Apple create macs for high end production people like

iJustine

Chris pirillo

ctfxc

all dose people use macs become it get the job done the fastest when it comes to video rendering
I guess that's why its a premium brand

I feel that would depend on the editing  or rendering application and the hardware. First-rate graphics related hardware and an application that complements the hardware, is all you need

Of course there are other elements like the design of the software and their user-friendliness but that can be  subjective
