I restarted the pc but I will change the theme and I will see if that will work

If the issue persists, please also run a scan with CCleaner and remove all the unwanted files that it finds. The latest version of CCleaner is 5.20.5668

Make sure you're running that

Like Timster advised, these custom themes can cause problems like yours and so it will be worthwhile to give that a try

Like Timster advised, these custom themes can cause problems like yours and so it will be worthwhile to give that a try

I just got a new theme running and cleaned my computer with cc cleaner. But unfortunately the problem still persists.

I switched to that theme but I am still having issues

Create a new user account as explained in this article at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/instantanswers/5de907f1-f8ba-4fd9-a89d-efd23fee918c/create-a-local-user-account-in-windows-10

Once the account is created, switch to that account and see if the issue exists there

which issue? the desktop background completely turning black or the one with the black squares? please be as precise as possible

which issue? the desktop background completely turning black or the one with the black squares? please be as precise as possible

The issues with the black boxes and the black screen continue on the other account but they happen the most on my administrator account.
