Potential Programming Section?
#1
Hi guys,

So I was browsing around the site and I was thinking that it would be great if we could get a section devoted to programming where people could discuss their problems or just talk about code. The only problem is that I'm not sure how many of you guys actually write code? I'd love to be able to talk to other people about code as I really need help and their is only 1 friend that I can get help from.

I look forward to seeing what you guys have to say about the subject,
Dan.

I'm strongest in html but I like to use adobe muse to make a site then tweak the code for max performance.
I am trying to learn C++ but their is literally nobody to help me with it, I learnt C because I needed it for my Arduino Circuit Controller and I recently started Python so I can use my raspberry pi more. I am still at a very basic stage in C++ and python though.

What about you? I get a feeling that you'd code something like C# or JavaScript or even Java.

I started programming back in Visual basic 5/6 and then went onto Delphi. I've dabbled in TCL and Perl for various things but I mostly use PHP.

I can make a section but doubt I could answer lol.

Good old PHP, great when it works but rarely does.

Works great for me. I do a lot of Wordpress development with it. I've just created the section.

PHP always works, pretty much does 'what it says on the tin', you just have to watch bad coding when using it in sites containing databases and login details as more often than not the config.php files are available when they shouldn't be.

Android Development in App Inventor, I love it. But also HTML, CSS, PHP, and a bit of JavaScript.
