Hello Folks,
I have been considering lately getting into programming and was curious what would be the best language to start out with that will introduce me into Coding etc. Or better yet how did you learn code? Any ideas or insights would be awesome.

I suppose the first place to start is Choosing a Language to learn. Example: JavaScript, C/C++, Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, HTML, CSS, etc, etc.

Start with something simple and work your way up. I started with HTML, then went to JavaScript, and am now doing Java. It takes time and effort but is some really fun stuff! If you are looking for software Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 is what I started with and is amazing!

For the basics use python! Its easy to learn and their are tons of resources out their and its a really powerful language! If you are looking for a site to learn it you can go to code.org and take the free python course.

I guess choose the language first, something simple or something you need most/immediately for your work, projects. My dad taught me HTML at the beginning, he hopes that I could help to update our website.

Website data base storage. SQL
Windows defaultly installed script engine, Microsoft Office Macros. Visual Basic Script
Easy simple language to start scripting which need to be installed. Python
Cross platform games, client and servers which need to be installed for programs. Java
Similar and esay after Java and little bit faster. C#
Fast games, applications and more. C++
Fast and good for small command line programs and malware. C
Low level, fast and good for reverse engineering programs. Assembly
