Hi f23948, please can you post the specs of your hard drive using speccy so we can find out if your hard drive is using full speed. Have a look at Brian's tutorial on how to do that: https://briteccomputers.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?tid=665.

Here is my specs for my HDD

i don't like Avira, so i have switched back to Avast

With the information provided your Hard Drive is performing Average. Can,t ask for more than that with stock Hardware? I would be happy with those readings. Smile
