Waiting for a response from you fine gentlemen I took it upon myself to try creating a new profile and removing the original profile. This resolved all video issues. I've been messing with this issue for months. I had some type of resolution a few months ago from that it went back to it's old tricks of not playing videos inside the MS apps. I'm just wondering now if I will go back over that rocky road and find myself again with no video playing to the MS apps. I'm delighted that it's fixed sure would like to know what the change in profile did to correct the issue.
I did try Brian's suggestion using the windows fix it link. It gave me the reply that there were issues which were not repairable with this fixit program. Now that it's fixed I don't want to try to fix something that's not broke. If you are like me when getting into a mess, I would really like to understand the outcome to the positive results. I know this isn't your thing to be explaining resolutions. Would you be able to steer me in the direction of websites that might have this information for me to review? At this point I want to thank all of you for you fine response even to go as far as to apologize. THANK YOU for all you've done Philip.
