I have always used Logitech gaming software and their devices (mouse and gamepad). I have never had any issues with compatibility until upgrading to Windows 10. I have searched for solutions via google and have reached out on the Windows forums and Logitech forums. I have no found a solution to the issue I am facing. My G602 gaming mouse freezes and locks up constantly since updating. It is like a delay and anyone who does gaming knows that is a bad thing. I have tried different Logitech mouses and it is the same problem. I have also tried a completely different brand mouse (Asus) with no issues. I prefer Logitech due my ability to create profiles for certain games. So far I have tried to reinstall driver, software, clean install Windows, change compatibility to all previous Windows options, use different USB ports, and tried reducing my PCs visuals to a lower setting. I am not sure what to do about it. I dont know if there is just a massive compatibility issue or what it is. Any help would be appreciated. There are 100s of forums posts relating to this issues but none of the solutions work.
I am running Windows 10

Things you need to find out:
- Is it a Hardware Problem?
- Is it related to Windows 10?
- Is it related to Logitech Driver?
Not sure what you have tried, but here is some things to try.
- Uninstall Logitech drive and see if the mouse works without Logitech driver, if it does, it will be a generic driver, does the problem go away?
- Install Logitech software on another machine and plugin the wireless dongle, does the problem go away?
- Try and test the mouse on Windows 7 or 8 and see if the problem goes away?
- Check Device Manager for any bad, missing or yellow exclamation marks, these could be related to your driver.
- Update to latest Logitech drivers and see if problem goes away.
- Rollback to a earlier to see if problem goes away.
- Check for Firmware updates.
- Check mouse receiver, could be having issue.
- Check warranty, it has 3 years warranty.
- Check USB port you are using 3.1, 3.0 2.0 ? what ports you using front or back? try different ones.
- Change batteries.
- Could be having connectivity issue with the mouse, this can cause freezing and shuttering
- Make sure system is free from Malware / Viruses
- Does the freezing and shuttering only happen when playing games?
Could go on all day

Yes that is the mouse linked. I used it previously on Window 8.1 with no issues but on an HP. I have since gone to the Asus and have had issues. I have tried everything that is suggested with no fix. I am not sure if it is a compatibility issue with Windows or Asus and have no way to find out. I do not know anyone with an Asus PC.

Everything is up to date. The firmware update seems to help for a day maybe 2 and then it is back to the same issue. I have the mouse plugged into the 1 usb in the back of the pc. There is a different port in the front of the pc that I do not use.

Yes I have used the gaming software for awhile now for button assigning. I did just get a new popup when trying to flash it with the firmware update saying that it failed. I looked into that and found an article that stated that if the mouse doesn't flash correctly it can cause all sorts of problems. I just got it to successfully flash. I will see what happens for the next day.
