Does Windows 10 need antivirus software or is defender good?
I have a pass for the latest Norton software, it it worth installing this?

Defender is pretty good at the moment. You would want to put a good anti-malware such as Malwarebytes.

windows defender is working pretty right now
at the end of day yes I would run windows defender alongside malwarebytes
Norton Antivirus can a bit heavy on the system

- Windows Defender
- Smart Screen Enabled
- Malwarebytes Premium
- Zone Alarm Free Firewall

Windows Defender with a free browser tool like Avira's browser safety or McAfee's WebAdvisor, would be my choice.
Norton offers nice protection too by the way.

I agree with Compton, Any Norton Suite will slow your PC down, always has, and seems like it always will.
Even though Brian showed how much better Defender is, I am still using Emsisoft Internet Security "includes a firewall", and Malwarebytes Premium.
