I am a new member and recently posted a "Video section" request for "How to Change from IDE to AHCI Controller in Windows 10 installation".
Brian didn't need to do the video, an Administrator solved that problem for me.
However, unknowingly, the procedure also cured difficulty I had experienced in getting certain USB sticks (Lexar S75 of 128gb capacity) to be recognised in my front USB 3.0 Hub. They were recognised in using the USB 2.0 ports.
So, I am just making these results available as it may cure the problem for someone else.
