Im not able to download files after moved my internet temp files to ram disk, i uninstalled ram disk so im trying to restore the default location

Here you go smirk24, this is the default location from my PC. You will need to create the INetCache folder before resetting it. I don't think that you have to do anything in the registry for it to work. If so, let us know.

I was able to get the inetcache folder to appear after i kept getting a merge conflict after id create the folder but i still get the same thing even after following your instructions

First, please try to reset internet explorer by following the article below: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/17441/windows-internet-explorer-change-reset-settings When you get to the step 'Reset Internet Explorer Settings', make sure you select tick 'Delete personal settings' in order to have a full reset of the browser, see image below: Also make sure you restart your computer before attempting to download files. If that doesn't work, Please can you run sfc /scannow: Perform SFC scan Click 'Start' > Type cmd in the search field > Right-click the command prompt at the top of the list and select 'Run as Administrator' Inside the command prompt, type sfc /scannow > Press 'Enter' 4. What my method did not work? it should work. You can also use software ramdisk

It worked britec i just didnt want to use it anymore is all if firefox didnt update there software id use ram disk with firefox's browser
lol yeah i know compton its just hard not to when you know Microsoft has a bunch of crap that you know doesn't need to be turned on for instance services, some stuff in the task scheduler hidden power settings theres all kinds a stuff out there ya just gotta digg and until i find that stuff i dont think ill stop tweaking lol |
