Kinda like in the link but i want to assign 2 ip addresses to 2 seprate network connections on my laptop to use at seprate times
The article is for Vista and XP and suggests that you disable DHCP, you may want to check the settings on your router and check with your ISP to see if you can do this, some ISP's will not let you disable DHCP or assign static IP's. ISP's have changed a lot since the Vista and XP days...all you had was a tiny box and you could do a lot more. Now they restrict, filter, and block residential class routers.
As I suggested before, If you delete both adapters from the device manager (Don't delete the drivers if asked). when you reboot the laptop, windows will reinstall the adapters and they will be set to default....they should work fine if you do that.If this doesn't work, I can only assume that your integrated NIC is bad.
