What exactly did you see in BIOS that makes you say that the keyboard is dead there?

When I entered BIOS, I landet on the first page enabling me to change date and time. I could not change anything as keyboard did'nt respond.
Of the same reason I was unable to toggle the BIOS-menu, and even save or quit, so the Power-button was the only option to get out.

plugin a usb keyboard then rest the Bios see if that would if the problem
