Yeah I did see that part however he tested 19.5v at motherboard level with a new replacement adapter adapter.

ya something tells me he needs to retest the power jack or the laptop charger is not cutting mustard

danielmbarns is the voltage and amps on the replacement charger matching with the original charger?

Needs to test the power at the battery connector interface like Brian suggested "I think it should be 10 volts". If it has voltage, but only powers up with the battery installed...It's not switching over to "plugged in power". Kinda leaning more toward a bad Charging IC.
