Hi to one and all,
I have been looking up on how to connect 2 GPU's to a MoBo but I have only 1 PCIE 16 slot. This is what I found out, you can connect a GPU to a PCIE 1 slot by removing the back plastic stop now a gpu will slot in but just one thing, you do lose on power / data transfer because your gpu is only using 1 pair of data pins insted of 8. I think that's right.? So this is my Q, if you lose out on power / data transfer do you also lose out on performance ?
I ask this because I am trying to do game recording at 60fps the game play's fine but the recording is jumpy and looks like strobe efect and when I change the settings on OBS then the game gose jumpy so I thourght if I put a nother GPU onto the MoBo this my help with fps on games and recording.
My PC is... Asrock H61M-vga 4 Intel i7 3770K (not over clocked) 16GB Hyper X Pro Ram 230GB samsung SSD 2TB WestenDigital black the GPU is EVGA GeForce GT 610 (hoping to be x2)..
All Info wil be helpful and Thank You!!
