Repair/Testing Tools for HDD and SSD Hard Drive

Hello Dear Britec supporters,

At first thanks for what you are doing and that is apreciateable a much.

I need your advise which tools or progs are best for testing and repairing bad sectors of HDD?

When i decide to test my hdd what should i do?

Hi IONx64, welcome to the forum.

Once a drive is going bad, I would suggest you start to think about replacing that drive.
Here are some tools you can use to scan for bad sectors and attempt to repair them.
There are just some of the common tools available for testing and diagnosing computer hard drives, remember backup before attempting any troubleshooting on hard drive in case the fail during the process of scanning.

Hi,
I have old SSD hard disk which is showing error "The request cannot be performed because of an I/O device error", all options are disabled. I want your help how to resolve it. It was working fine previously but all of sudden I got this error.
