Blocking on Windows 8
#1
This is the situation:

We have a windows 8 machine at the entrance to our store.
We would like it to show only our web sites login page for customers
to sign up to and nothing else.
Meaning, no chance of doing anything else with this PC but login to the one already open web page.
And of course no other surfing.

I guess a fine tuned Group Policy would make this possible.

Any thoughts or know tutorials to make this short and painless?

Thanks

No easy way I don't think, just have to tweak system so browser is locked on full screen at startup and disable everything else.

you could ask the customer if they would like to sign up, but it would me pulling a member of staff away to do that, see a lot of stores where staff have tablets and they ask you if you would like to join the mailing group etc

Thanks I managed to configure the PC to login on start up to a specific web page in explorer and cancel any access to the PC
or any other web sites.
..first time Im loving win8! This is done through win8 "assigned access"
