If you have windows 10 home you wont have gpedit. but if you have something other than windows 10 home installed you can try finding gpedit here

Backup up your registry and create a restore point before attempting any changes to your registry. Read the article in the link below and compare it the best you can to britecs video above that compton posted.

You could possibly damage your computer by following the instructions provided in the video you posted. Id read the comments under the video before trying.

Will hold off on this until later in the day so we can get some more eyes on this and see what Compton says as well Looks Like this is a common issue with this .NET Framework 3.5 error in Windows 10 Home and the registry Maybe best to just upgrade to Windows 10 Pro But at this point just don't know But thanks again mate will get some rest before working on this later today

Smirk24, I think sorting out the registry will cause more issues. Also we have went past point to repair the system manually.

I think the best option pauli925 is to perform a repair install of Windows 10 because

- You have corrupt system files which can't repaired by sfc/scannow

-  Dism doesn't work and cannot resolve those corruptions.

-  A repair install will fix the .net framework and any other corrupt system files.

Please watch this tutorial pauli925 created by Britec to perform a repair install of windows 10:

Before you do anything backup any important information to your external USB. Also make sure you disable your antivirus and firewall before beginning the process.

Remember to take your time and not to rush the process.
