*SOLVED [Used 32gb memory stick]* What would be the reason that my 16gb usb memory stick does not show up after the prompt to insert a USB stick with at least 16gb? It shows up in Explorer. Just following the prompts in the Create A Recovery Drive process. I insert the stick, the green moves a little in the window, and then nothing happens, the Next is greyed-out.
I have ordered a 32gb stick. Anyone think that's the issue? I'd like to run updates after I get this done. I'm not new to these simple things so I'm stuck. I don't do gaming or much messing with settings except for power schemes.
TIA! I searched here and Reddit for my specific troubles. Presume the stick is good because it is brand new and I just used it to create the same recovery with an Acer notebook. I simply re-formatted it to FAT32 after the stick was not "seen". I always use software Eject controls on Memory cards. I insert when prompted.
The laptop is Acer E5-511 POGC. It has a built in DVD multidrive and there is Acer recovery software on board. However I plan to do a clean install of Windows 10 thanks to Britec videos and my success with my 2011 Acer Netbook Aspire One AO722. So the Acer recovery won't be used anyway down the line.
