Configure services to start up with windows
#1
I'm curious to know is there away to set program services to not start up with windows but be able to be activated if a program needs the service?

I already have startup configured but the non Microsoft services is what i'm talking about.

Do you mean start a service for that program when the program is opened?

Yeah thats what i mean. because when i uncheck the Non system services in msconfig then restart the pc then get to the desktop and try to open a program then i have issues with the programs that were unchecked in msconfig

Services are Windows processes which constitute a part of the system and therefore they can't be started like you expect them to.
