How to configure processor quantum
#11
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\PriorityControl]
"Win32PrioritySeparation"=dword:00000012

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\OptimalLayout]
"EnableAutoLayout"=dword:00000001

Theres a few other things i did but i dont want to get into all of that lol but those 2 tweaks above make a difference when theres a mechanical hard drive and an old system with 2gb of ram and a single core. We can close the thread thanks guys for your help Smile

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\OptimalLayout\enableautolayout to 1(hex)
Not quite sure how that works as I'm assuming (vaguely) that Win32.... 12(hex) would be the same as 14(hex)
and EnableAuto.... 1(hex) used in conjunction would probably be the same as optimizing the system (in my head).

But it if it works for you then great Smile
