When formating extra storage what would be the best method

I added a hard drive that im gonna use for my pagefile and extra storage and im wanting to know if i should use the full format or quick format to achieve the best results?

Depends if you know the disk is healthy or not.

Full Format = Removing files (erasing, but not securely) and scans disk for bad sectors.

Quick Format = Removing files Only.

If I have had an issue while using Windows and I need to format the drive and reinstall Windows I will use Full Format. If I am just wiping the drive and had no issues I will do a quick format.
