Not a joke at all GS...

They were scammed by one of those Microsoft Technicians that dropped a bunch of stuff in their system (and the guy paid)

* Scammer used an RMM remote client.
* Also left an endpoint security client on the system.

That meant that he could monitor, and have full control of the system....

I can only guess that it was because the computer would not boot at all and they didn't know how to repair an MBR... I ended up getting over 6GB of temp files and 158 malicious files out of it...

Yeah I see that alot also. Techs want to take the easy way out of things nowadays.

Got that right Tim, those aren't techs, they are Pizza Techs.

Now for the Corporate IT Guy, Most of the time, they don't fix issues, they just reimage or grab another PC from the IT supply room....lol
