Im trying to figure out away that i can have my music files on a seperate hard drive but still be able to listen to them on itunes with out the songs being copied to the folder on the hard drive which itunes is stored on?

I think the only way to do it is change the location of your music folder to an external drive and have all your music in there.
You will need to have that drive plugged in to play your tunes.

I have 2 hard drives which are both installed to the motherboard of my pc.
On port 0 of my motherboard is the hd which windows is installed on. On port 1 of my motherboard is where my 2nd hd is plugged in.
There is a setting in itunes where i can change the location of the folder but it seems like when i change my folder to the seperate hd where id like my music to be, itunes seems to reset it back to default.
Im trying to change the location of my music folder to the 2nd hd due to lack of storage space on my os hd
