Here We Go Again
#1
Well guys it looks like we will have to evacuate! A major cat 5 hurricane is tracking our way. People on my street have already boarded up their homes and I won't be far behind. We had a hurricane hit here in early October last year and now this one is even bigger and stronger. I will keep you guys updated. The "M" on the map stands for "Major". Currently the storm has about 185mph sustained winds. This is the most powerful hurricane ever recorded in the Atlantic Ocean.

You be safe Tim!! Hope everything goes well.

Looks like a Sams Club... When the Texas Hurricane came, the Sams Club where my wife works shipped what they had to Texas.

Tell everyone in Georgia to switch their TVs on to a channel with Donald Trump talking, he's so full of hot air it might blow the hurricane in the opposite direction.

Seriously though mate I hope it misses you.

So the final path of the hurricane shifted to the west a good bit but we had some pretty bad winds here and some really bad tidal surges. My father in law had both of his vehicles have water up to the door with standing water inside the car.. We made a final decision not to evacuate and we had my in laws stay with us during the storm as they live in low lying areas. We were without power for about 5 days. About 15,000 people were without power in the city I live in. We got lucky this time as the storm tracked well west of us.
The picture below is RIver Street here in Savannah GA which was completely under water due to massive storm surge.
