Airplane mode stuck on! help!
#11
ok do a clean boot then check to see what will happen https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows

if a clean boot did not work boot into safe mode with networking https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode

if booting into safe mode networking did not work then download a Linux distro https://www.linuxliteos.com/download.php put it on a flash drive boot from it

then check to see if wifi will work this will tell us if it's a hardware software problem

Try a restore point go back as far as possible. An update might have done this. This is how to restore to an earlier date here goo.gl/x1jAnH go toward bottom of article to find directions on how to restore to an earlier time.

No, I haven't done that, I'm not sure the complete step by step to do that? Is there a youtube tutorial video?

What do I do once I have Linux on a USB? What are the steps after that?

Download Windows All in One Repair Tool (free) Here goo.gl/6ce93    Follow all steps to the letter and make sure that you allow the repair tool to create a new restore point, and Backup the registry. Like the program suggests perform a proper Windows clean boot before running the repair, details for the clean boot here goo.gl/gWFfpQ

  1. write the Linux lite ISO to a flash drive  using https://rufus.akeo.ie/
  2. then boot from the flash drive
  3. select start Linux Lite
  4. it will boot to the desktop on the bottom of the taskbar on the right-hand corner
  5. select on the network  icon
  6. select on your wireless network
  7. enter your wifi password
  8. select connect then select on Firefox search google  to check and see if the internet is working

Hi, still suffering from a previous issue.

My windows 10 flight mode is stuck on my desktop PC, I have tried updating the drivers, clean booting, uninstalling the wifi adaptor and reinstalling it. I have also put in another wifi adaptor to see if that would fix it but flight mode was still stuck in the on position so it is obviously not the wifi card and is a software problem.

I don't know what else to try, has anyone else got any ideas?

Well, you can try the on-screen keyboard and make use of those keys to implement the fix

I did try that too, but that didn't work.
