How do you restore deleted power options registry keys
#1
How do you restore deleted power options registry keys in windows 7? While trying to get rid of some added settings to the registry for the power options i deleted that advanced section of the power options.

So now i can see balanced, power saver, and high performance but the advanced     section of each one is gone and i get a message that the power options arent availible.

Ive tried
Admin cmd prompt: PowerCfg -RestoreDefaultSchemes

Sfc /scannow

Chkdsk /f /r

Hi Smirk24,

This guide should solve your issue:

Look at the "or" in the guide.
